Himalaya (Captain Hill) 50 Kakaia (Captain Silba) 49 Asterion (Captain Foote) 13 The schooner Orpheus sailed into port about 7 o’clock last evening, with a full load of sleepers and timber for the railways and Mr Murdoch. The barque Irene is well down in tho water and to-day the crew were bending sails for the run home. The schooner Glencairn, having got rid of her inward cargo of timber, was ready for outward loading to-day. The s.s. Pukaki arrived from the south this morning, bringing some sundries from Dnnodin, 53 packages ex Westland for the Gas Company, and 9£ tons' of sugar ex steamer from Auckland. She takes hence 500 tons of produce and 60 rams from Riverslea for Auckland. The Pukaki has also on deck several hundred sheep and a number of polled angns cattle shipped at Oatnarn for the Napier district. The deck forward is fall of sheep and more are on the bridge donk.
