A treat to lovers of good tea, Hyslop's Pure Ceylon in lead pockets. — [Advt.j A movement of very considerable international importance has just been initiated in America. It has as its object a new translation of the Bible, which it is proposed (says the Yorkshire Post) shall be published in a unique condition. According to Professor PauLHaupt, of John Hopkins University, who is now in England in connection with the work, it is proposed that the book shall include not Only the Old and New Testaments, but the Apocrypha, the Peendepigrapha, and the four fisdras and the Psalms of Solomon Each of the 36 books will be assigned to a competent scholar, and their translation will be accompanied by explanatory notes and pictoral r< presentations on a more magnificent scale than has ever yet been attempted. The books of the Old Testament alone will comprise two volumes, each of which is calculated to contain 1000 pages, and the entire Scriptures will fill six volumes. The work will be unique in this respect—it will contain a feature which Professor Haupt claims to be the author of, andwhich consists of the printing of portions t belonging to the documents from which the translation is made in different colours. In this way it is considered that the reader will be able to tell at a glance the period when the lines were compiled, and from what source they were taken. CADBURY’S COCOA.
