(By Telegraph.) A Shooting Case. DUNEDIN. Nor. 27. At Fort Chalmers police Court L . H. Bowerman, agent for the Picturesque Atlas, was charged with attempted shooting with intent at George Porcyth, a settler at Portohollo, and was commuted for trial. A Dishonest Secretary. BULLS, Nov. 27. At the E.M. Court yesterday 0. H. Tomlinson, Secretary to the Sandon Special Settlement Association, was charged with embezzlement of £242, money entrusted to him by the Association for the purpose of paying the Government for their township lands. He was remanded for a week.
