There was very little doing at Flemingten this morning. Carbine, who has not had a gallop for some some days was sent three miles at half pace. Latest Derby .betting—2 to 1 (off) against The Admiral; 4 to 1 against Gibraltar and Annesley ; 8 to 1 against Whimbrel; 11 to 1 against Titan. Caulfield Cup—Little Bernie and Tarooola are equal favorites, 100 to 8 being laid against them, 100 to 7 against Churchill ; 100 to 5 against Sir William, Singapore, Whimbrel, and Chaldean ; 100 to 4 against Bothwell, Dunkeld, Pygmalion, Loyalstone, Rich Ruby, Vengeance, and Highborn. Melbourne Cup—loo to 9 (laid) against Carbine and Melos ; 100 to 5 against Gibraltar and the Queen.
