Arrived—a. a. Lubock, from Samoa. She brings newa that in consequence of delay in appointing Judicial Officials several agitators are sowing seeds of dissatisfaction, which are spreading among the natives,' who are now divided into three parties, viz., Malietoa’a, Malaafa’s and Tamaaseso’s. The religious body are attempting to persude Mataafa that his ( claim to the kingship was not properly considered, and that the recognition of Malietoa as king was a slight to Mataafa, after the splendid services he had rendered in securing the independence of 1 Samoa. It is considered in Samoa that the speedy appointment of officials is necessary in order to counteract the reports circulated by ihe agitators.
