Tho ilucKeyo secured the gold medal and special mention at the Melbourne Exhibition, the judgoa stating in their report that, “Its construction was a special study for every intelligent mechanic." Tho Buckeye Lowdown was awarded first prize at Jamestown, South Australia, tho judges giving a special certificate, stating, “ In our opinion this machine is undoubtedly the machine of tho future."

The Buckeye Mower and Reaper won the first prize at Palmerston North Show.

Our manufacturers have won their laurels honestly, preferring to meet their reputation to the special merit of the Buckeye, rather than to the elaborate finishing of any one machine specially fitted up for trial show or exhibition purposes.
