The Wharf Labourers’ Union have issued an appeal to the various trades unions throughout Australasia for support in the event of any struggle taking place with the employers.

Three thousand dock labourers at Gloucester have struck work owing to an alleged breach of agreement on the part of the employers. Groat irritation is being manifested at several other parts, and it is likely that the action of the employers will lead to more strikes.
