NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Examination of Pupil Teachers will commence at the Timaru Main School on TUESDAY, Ist July next. Pupil Teachers in the service of the Board are requested to present themselves for exami- i nation irrespective of their teaching status, in the class next higher than that for which they have already qualified in respect of attainments. Those alone have the option of considenng themselves exempt who have received their appointments since the Ist of January, 1890. Young persons between the ages of 14 and 18 years, not yet holding appointments will, on receipt of one week’s notice, be admitted to the Examination. The names of such persons will be entered on a separate list of candidates, and those who fail to satisfy the Examiners will be designated by numbers alone on published result. Third and Fourth Year Pupil Teachers are requested to state what optional subjects they wish to be examined in. Copies of the Examination Time Table may be obtained at this Office in a few days.
