This year’s uugap yield is estimated at 38,000 tons, and the home consumption is expected to be under 13,000 tons. • Finest Queensland; whites are quoted I at £23.

Wheat, 53 4d. Flour, stouo-made, £11; roller-made, £lllos, with an upward inclination. Oats, stout, 3s 8d ; holders of New Zealand sorts want 3s 9d. Maize, 4s 6d. Barley, malting, 5s Gd. Bran, Is Id.
The sugar market is brisk. Queensland whites, £25 10s; greys, £24; yellows, £2O 10s.
Adelaide, Oct. 30. Wheat is quiet at 4s lid. The new crop is offering at 4s 6d.
Flour, stone-made, £lO 10a to £lolss ; roller-made, £llls -1 to £l2. Bran, dull, 7§d to Bd. Pollard, 9d to 9£d. The potato market is weaker than last last quotations, Circular Heads being at £0 10s.

Sailed—R.M.S. Zealandia for Auckland. The Irish delegates are passengers by her. CAPTAIN LESSING ACQUITTED. In the Supreme Court to-day the charge of manslaughter preferred against Captain Lessing of the steamer Centennial in connection with the death of the cook of the vessel, through her sinking, was heard, when the jury brought in a verdict acquitting accused.
LIGHTHOUSE ON THE SNARES

In replying to the deputation of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr Gillies, the Premier, said that ho would communicate with the other colonies, and the Imperial Government, that, conjointly, they should share the cost of erecting a lighthouse on the Snares.
