COOP. Mk David Owehs— CAN you show me how a discount of 2£ per cent per month amounts to a Bonus of 30 per cent per annum ? According to my calculalion, assuming a customer’s account to amount to £lO per month, from you he would receive per cent discount or 5s per month. At the end of 12 months he would have paid you £l2O less £3 deducted for discount. With the Co-Op. the same customer would at the end of 12 months have paid £l2O, and with a Bonus of 5 per cent would receive back the sum of £6, or just double the amount you would return him.
