For United Kingdom and Australian Colonies, per Manapouri, on Wednesday, sth inst., at 2.30 p.m. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand and Sydney, per Tarawera, on Wednesday, sth inst., at 4.30 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, on Saturday, Bih inst., at 2.30 ,p.m. On and after Monday, 13th inst., mails by trains will close at Timaru, as follows : For South (per express) daily at 2.30 p.m., and by other trains as at present. For North (by express) daily at 4.45 p.m. ; for Christchurch and intermediate offices, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 a.m., and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 11.30 a.m. ; for local offices, as far as Ashburton, daily, at 6 a.m. (Signed.)
