(By Telegraph.) WAIPAWA, May 29. During the holding of the Assessment Court yesterday, Mr Crombie, Deputy Commissioner, said that he would recommend the Commissioner to take over the property of a sheep farmer in this district who objected to the valuation. Mr Crombie said that tho Commissioner would compel the owner to sell at his own valuation plus ten per cent if he would.not agree to defendant’s valuation. The statement created surprise.
