In the House last night the Divorce Extension Bill was read a second time and passed through the committee stage. THE AUSTRALIAN SQUADRON. The Australian squadron visits Dunedin in December, and Auckland in January. MR FEHON ABSOLVED. The Royal Commission appointed to enquire into the charges made against Mr Fehon, one of the recently appointed Railway Commissioners,of being mixed up in what is termed “ wool frauds ” have reported that there is no truth in the charges. THE TARAWERA. Melbourne, May 29. Sailed—Tarawera for the Bluff. THE ACQUITTAL OF DR FIGG. Doctor Figg, arrested last month on a charge of performing an illegal operation at Williamstown, has been acquitted.
