TORPEDO AND ARTILLERY RECRUITS.
(By Telegraph.) WELLINGTON; May 22. A supplement to the Gazette, issued this morning, makes further exception in regard to recruits for the Torpedo and Artillery Corps, by which sons of polio; officers may be enrolled without any previous training in the Volunteer force provided they are not less than sffc. 9in. in height, nor more than 26 years of 'age, and produce satisfactory csilificatc as to character and fitness.
