Disastrous Fire.

DUNEDIN, Mat 17.
Harrawr.y’s flour and oatmeal mills at Green Island were burnt to the ground to-night; also one of the workmen’s cottages. No particulars are to hand, but it is known that the loss to the owner will bo very heavy as the insurances were very light. The mill was full of grain and flour.

I The insurance were as follows: —On the building, National £750, reinsured in the New Zealand and Union £350 each ; on the machinery, Liverpool London and Globe £1000; on stock, Equitable £250, British and Colonial £350, National £SOO (tho latter reinsured £250 in the South British and £125 in the New Zealand ; on workmen’s cottage, National £IOO. ihocnix £SOO on the machinery. It is roughly estimated that the in* surancos wore not half the value.
