(Received 12.45 p.m., May 14th.) ANOTHER FLAX BOAT ON FIRE. Sydney, May 14. The steamship Riverina, from Sydney to London, arrived at Aden with her cargo on fire. The flames were extinguished after arrival. The origin of the fire is not stated. Amongst the cargo was a quantity of flax. (Received 12.30 p.m, May 14th.) WHEAT IN AUSTRALIA. Wheat is in fair request at from 4s 6d to 4s 9J. Melbourne, May 34. Wheat is quiet at 5s 7d. I AUSTRALIAN COPPER MINES. Adelaide, May 14. Owing to the fall in the price of copper, tho wages of the men working at the Moonta copper mine, at the head of Yorke Peninsula, have bean reduced. In consequence of this action on the part of the mine owneis, tho men have threatened to go out on strike. Should they carry out tho threat the strike will involve a thousand men and boys who are working in the mines. SHIPPING. Melbourne, May 14. Sailed—Pukaki. Newcastle, May 14.
