IN Pursuance of the “ Road Board Act 1883,” and its amendments, and “ Ihe Regulation of Local Elections Act 1876,” I, James Granger, Returning Officer for the above-named District, do hereby give notice that a GENERAL ELECTION will take place on TUESDAY, tho 7th day of May, 1889, to return FIVE MEMBERS to the Levels Road Board, viz: For the Otipua Subdivision—TWO MEMBERS; Eor tbe Point Subdivision —TWO MEMBERS For the Seadown Subdivision—ONE MEMBER. All the present Members (Messrs Balfour, Jones, Mco, Orbell and Rhodes) go out of Office, but are eligible for rc-election.
