The little steamer Kakanui arrived from from Waikawa yesterday with 26,000 ft of timber consigned to Mr John Jackson. She leaves this evening for the same port in ballast. The schooner Spray, having finished discharging her cargo of timber, commenced to take in a cargo of produce for Napier, The Wakatipu, now at Dunedin, comes on here to discharge a portion of her cargo of Newcastle coal to the order of Mr Ebeneser Smith.
