The Coal Trade.

GREY MOUTH, April 16,
It is reported at Bmnnerton that in consequence of the depression in tho coal trade the Wallsond mine is about to be closed. The miners will be offered the chance of taking out the coal pillars in the Brunner mine at a reduction of sixpence per ton. It is not expected that price will bo accepted. It is also reported that tenders will shortly be called for opening tho Blackball coal mine.
