LATE SPORTING.
HAWKESBURY AUTUMN MEETING. 'Per Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) (Received 12.20 p.m., April 15th.) Sydney, April 15. There is little betting over the Sydney Cup. Abercorn is most fancied at present at 100 to 18. Ten to one bar one is freely offered, Carbine receiving moat support at that figure. This morning Manton and Lochiel were sent once round the training track, the latter having the best of it. Abercorn, with the assistance of Volley and Granbrook negotiated a mile and a half in 2 min. 51secs., guttling home in capital style. Pearl Shell did a short gallop of seven furlongs. Carbine merely cantered.
