Unemployed in Dunedin
(By Telegraph.) DUNEDIN, April 11. A dozen men, representing the unemployed, interviewed the mayor this morning. Tho latter recommended tho men to make out a list of genuine cases and submit it to tho City Members with a view to representations being made to the Government. Mr Eitchett has received a telegram from the Minister of Lands stating that a few men can be taken on the Otago Central, and some could be taken on shortly at Gatlin’s road works.
