(Received Feb. 9, 1.60 a.m,) Sydney, Feb 8. The candidates for East Maitland, Brnnker, Molang and Ross have been returned unopposed. The cricket match Shaw-Lilly white’s team v. Maitland district resulted in a draw in favor of the former. The H.M.S. Dart, which arrived from Sydney, picked up three Frenchmen, who have been identified as escapees from New Caledonia. They have been returned under extradition treaty with that colony.
