[By Elbotbio Teleqbaph—Copybight.] [Rbutbb’s Agency.] SHIPPING. COMMERCIAL. ELECTIONS. CRICKET. ESCAPEES. [Received 10,15 p.m, Feb. 9.] Mblbouene, Feb. 7. The Rotomahana sailed this afternoon. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ld., of New Zealand, reports as follows : Wheat is rather weaker at 3s XOd ; barley is in fair demand at 3s 9d to 4s 4d ; New Zealand oats—feed sorts are quieter, bat steady at 2s XOd to 3s ; milling sorts in moderate enqniry at 3s to 3s Id ; under bond, 2s Id to 2s 3d. (Received Feb. 9, 1.60 a.m,) Sydney, Feb 8. The candidates for East Maitland, Brnnker, Molang and Ross have been returned unopposed. The cricket match Shaw-Lilly white’s team v. Maitland district resulted in a draw in favor of the former. The H.M.S. Dart, which arrived from Sydney, picked up three Frenchmen, who have been identified as escapees from New Caledonia. They have been returned under extradition treaty with that colony.
