Owing to the illness of the Bev. J. Preston, Incumbent of St. Mary’s JSpisdtfpal 1 Church here, the Eov, Mr Hamilton, of Tetnuka, undertook yestefii day’s duties of the Church. After morn, ing service bo administered the Holy Communion and the Sacrament ;of Baptism. Every member of the Church and also those of other denominations will, we feel sure, be sorry to learn that the rev. gentleman is completely prostrated with sciatica and tbeonjatism and is uoi able at the present time to tajre any part whatever in bisi parochial dutieo.
