TIMARU TRADESMEN’S COURSING CLUB.

The meeting of the above Club, belt! yeoterday at Pleasant Point, was very successful, although the entries were not large. All the various officers worked well, and we did not bear a word of complaint as to the judging. The bares that were got were in nearly every case good goers and gave the dogs plenty ofexercise. Final. Messrs Hobbs' b d Jack beat Mr Shark’s bk w d Frost Fish, and won the stake. Puppy Stakes—Winner £1 10s, runner • up £2. Mr D. Mahoney's fd Flemington beat Mr J. Power’s blk b Hits F. Mr Moßoth’s blk d Taipo beat Mr C. Wederell’s f d Montrose MpJ. Hammond's w b Marion beat Mr P. Stock’s f w Countess. Second Bound. Flemington beat Taipo Marion, a bye.

Final. Mr D. Mahoney’s Flemington beat Mr J. Hammond’s Marion, and won the stake.
