The Chairman said the Committee could not deal with the matter as there was no official complaint. Thomas Dooley applied for a permanent transfer of the license of the Woodbury Hotel from W. Wadlow to himself. Granted. J. J. Daily applied for a permanent license for the Rangitata Hotel. The Chairman said he had received information that the original license was lost or burnt.

The certificate was granted under the ninth Section of the Act. Thomas Farrell applied for a permit to his wife under clause 135 of the Act, for the Crown Hotel for five months during his absence. The Hotel would be under the management of John Farrell,

The police offered no objection, and ;he permit was granted.
