TEMUKA TOWN BOARD

The Temuka Town Board met on Wednesday evening, and transacted a large quantity of business. Amongst the matters, tenders for works, and for leasing town sections and reserves, were considered as follows: —Sections 210, 211, and g!2, Vine street—B. Brown,

£5 (accepted), Sections 64, 65, and 66. Vine street —P, Coira, £3 (accepted); J. Marshall, £2. Sections 67, and 68, South Road —J, Ruddick, £2los 6d (accepted); W. Weir, £2 Sections 115, 116, 129, and 130, South Road—J. Radford £2; R. Darrock. £2, A ballot was taken resulting in the sections being let to Mr Radford. Sections 179, 180, 181, 190, 19s and 192, Temuka Terrace —J. Davis, £2 (accepted) ; reserve 168, South Eoad —Mr Quinn, £ll (accepted); P. Coira, £lO. Ro-fornoing and Shingling Wood and Vine streets —T. Cleary, £35 ; F. Mulloy, £34 8s; M. Dunn, £27 9s ; T. Small, £23 16s 6d (accepted). Forming footpath and shingling Cass street—P. Mnlioy, £3llos 6d ; M. Dunn, £24 5a Id ; T. Small £23 5s 4d (accepted). The tender of J. W. Boulter for lamp lighting at £5 per lamp was accepted conditionally.
