Mr F- W. Millis, the celebrated ventriloquist, will give performances in the Theatre Royal on 20th and 21st instant. An incident occurred in the Supreme Court to-day which caused a hearty laugh. Mr Justice Johnston had just summed up Taylor’s case, when the learned and stalwart counsel for the defence rose to suggest one point to which flis Honor had already drawn attention. “ I said so, sir,” retorted Hia Honor with asperity, " those were my last words.
