WAI-ITI.
The ordinary meeting of the above Committee was held on Monday evening. Present —Messrs J. Hole (Chairman), Morgan, Fyfe, Cooper, Fraser, and Bladon.
A circular and copy of the School Committee Elections Bill, together with a petition in favor of the same, (which all the members, except one, signed), wore read.
The Master’s report showed :—Humber on r 011—53 boys, 38 girls, total 91; average attendance—42 boys, 30 girls, total 72; highest attendance—44 boys, 34 girls, total 78. Leave of absence was granted to Miss Wilkinson for Wednesday, the Master being agreeable. On the motion of Mr Fyfe, seconded by Mr Frazer, the holidays were fixed from June 23rd to July 7th. The Chairman was requested to see
the Chairman of the Board of Eduoation re repairs to school and master’s house.
Mr E. Bladon was appointed visitor, and the meeting terminated.
