GERALDINE-WEDNESDAY. (Before J. G. S. Baddeley, Esq., E.M., and L. Walker, Esq., Dr Fish, and Captain Temple, J.P.’s). THREATENING LANGUAGE. J. Bull, charged with this offence by G. Newman, was bound over to keep the peace for one month, himself in £lO, and one surety of £5. AFFILIATION. James Lochore was charged with the support of his illegitimate child by Annie Hustings, lie was ordered to pay 7s Gd per weel't until the child should attain the age of fourteen, and to pay all expenses of the confinement, and to provide a surety of £25 for his compliance with the order. As no surety was available, he was detained in custody, it being stated that ho was about to leave tho district. CIVIL CASES. Amos Sherratt and Co. v. J. Fleming, ! claim, £1 18s Id, and cross action, Flemi ing v. A. Sherratt, claim £3l 15s 6d. • Judgment was given in tho first case - 1 for £llßs Id, and costs £1 9s; and in
the second case £l2 15s and costs £5 19s. Jonathan Shaw v. James Flak, claim, £IOO. Judgment went by default for the full amount, and coats £5 ss. John Mundell and Co. v. Thomas Powell, claim, £2 4s. Judgment for £1 18s Id, and costs 7e. R. H. Pearpoint v. H. E. Smith, claim £ls. Judgment for full amount and costs 255.
