Mails dose at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under:— Saturday, Jan. 5. Pot Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 6 a.m. For Northern Porta of New Zealand per Takapuna, at 6 a.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Fran Cisco, the Continent of Europe, America* Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and Mediterranean Ports, as follows Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2.30 p.m. Late fee letters at the Chief Post-office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Kailway Travelling Post-office Mail Yan (Northern Express Train; ti 113,17 p.m, (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Timaru, Jan., 2,1884.
