TH3.S DAY. [Received Jan. 3,1884, 12,40. p.m.] A Ring of Swindlers. Paris, ifan. 3. Tho trial of the Marquis De Rays on charges of fraud and deception in connection with the New Ireland expedition, was concluded to-day, when the prisoner was found guilty and sentenced to four years’ imprisonment, and ordered to pay a fine of 3000 francs. The associates of the Marquis were also found guilty and sentenced to shorter terms of imprisonment and fined in the same amount.
