DEPUTATIONS.

[Bt Telegeaph.J Dunedin, Dec. 13. A deputation from the Chamber of Commerce waited on the Hon. Mr Mitcbelson to-day, re the light on Waipapa Point, the now Eailway Station, the Otago Central Railway, differential Harbor dues, Railway charges on carnage of grain, etc. Mr replied that the light would he finished as quickly as possible ; the Otago Central Eailway is to be proceeded with with the greatest possible despatch ; the matter of arranging the harbor dues was one for Parliament, and if properly laid before Parliament they would be satisfactorily arranged. With regard to the railway station only £20,000 was to be spent on buildings, and he did not think that too large a sum for a city like Dunedin, Tenders would bo out this week for foundations, &d., the structure to bo proceeded with without delay.
