(Pbb Pbkss Association.) THIS DAY. Respectable Larrikins* Dunedin, Dec. 12. At the City Police Court to-day, John Brannigan, Seaward Cantrell, Charles Harvey, Robert Low, J. Lawson, and Jag. Hume, were charged with acta of Jarrikinism, The defendants, who all occupy good positions had been larking at early hours, All pleaded guilty, and were fined each 5s and costs 435. Other cases were withdrawn. The Oummyism Cases. At a meeting of the Land Board today Mr Stout made a statement contradicting the explanation of Mr Green as to how the decision had been arrived at in regard to the suspected cases of dummyism at Waikouaiti. It was decided that the rehearing of the cases should take place on January 4, when there will be a now Board. Mr Stout intimated that further evidence could be adduced.
