Telegrams have been received from Zululand, announcing that two severe engagements have been fought between several Zulu tribes, and the followers of Hsibepu, resulting in the route of the latter on both occasions. Rebellious Subjects. Belgrade, Nov. 14. The rebellion in this country is rapidly extending. News is to hand that a most formidable rising occurred at Kruchevatz, near Alexinatz, in the South Coast, the latter town being now in complete possession of the rebels. An enthusiastic meeting was held last night at the Town Hall, for the purpose of bidding farewell to the Rev. Charles Strong, late of Scots Church, who leaves for England to-day. The Presbyterian Assembly, has, for the past two days,been discussing the Eev McEachran’s charges against Mr Strong. The latter was invited to attend the Assembly last night, but declined, declaring that the charges against him imputed dishonesty, and were dishonorable. Fenian Trial. London, Nov. 14, The trial of the Fenian, Pool, for the murder of Mr Kenny, has been proceeding in Dublin for some days past. The case concluded yesterday, but tie jury were unable to agree upon a verdict and were discharged.
