The weather is doll and threatening with a cold Northeast wind. The attendance is fairly good. Selling Plate Handicap, of 50 sovs; If miles. Jack was the favoriteBetting—6 to 4on the field. Gold Dust made the running round! the back of the course. On entering, the straight he was joined by all butt Sunlight, who was done. Nearing home. Jack went to the front, but inside the’ rail Trumpeter challenged him and won. a capital race by a length and a half. Time —2min. 14fsec. Derby Stakes, 250 sovs; If miles.
