Turnbull has been appointed agent at Timaru for the New Zealand Grain Agency Company, Limited, Attention is directed to Mr J, D, Slater’s advertisement of the purchase by him of the Kaiapoi exhibits at the Timaru Show, A contemporary introduces a piece of poetry with these words : —“ The following lines were written more than fifty years ago by one one who has for many years slept in his grave merely for his own amusement.”
