NEW BAKERY.
Mr J. O’Dowd, having determined on resuming business as a baker in Timaru, has taken the lease of the premises formerly occupied by J. B. Witt at the corner of Church and Sophia streets, which are being entirely renovated and very completely fitted up. The place has been newly painted and papered throughout, and every provision has been made for carrying on the business of baker and confectioner, for the accommodation of visitors to town, and for the convenience of lodgers. No pains have been spared to make the place suitable for these purposes, and business will be commenced on Thursday next, the first of November, Mr O’Dowd has been favourably known as a baker in Timaru for a considerable time past.
