Pharmacy Examination. Wellington, Oct. 29. Out of twelve candidates, the following gentlemen have passed at the April examination of the New Zealand Pharmacy Board held at the four centres in the colony :—Messrs Wilton, Marton ; Hobden, Christchurch; Warburton, Auckland ; McAlister, Invercargill ; Kinderdine, Dunedin ; Clarke, Auckland. Baby Killed by a Drunken Mother. Dunedin, Oct. 29. A three months old son of Mr John Whitely was found dead in its mother’s bed yesterday afternoon. The mother, who had been drinking, overlaid the child. Larrikinism. The larrikins took possession of the Ocean Beach tram car yesterday and threw out guard Farrell, who had one of his feet injured by the wheel passing over it. _____
