(Per Press Association.) THIS DAT. Sudden Death. Wellington, Oct. 29. A daughter of Mr J. Gorrie, farmer, Whiteman’s Valley, near Upper Hutt, died suddenly on Saturday. She had been to Wellington, r and on returning home complained of being ill. She retired to bed, and in a few minutes called out for assistance, remarking she was dying. Assistance was rendered, but she died almost immediately. The medical opinion is that the symptoms are those of poisoning, but nothing is known as to how it could have been taken. It is probable that a post mortem examination and inquest will take place to-day.
