Leach’s Trustees v. Job Brown. The evidence in this case was chiefly a recapitulation, of that given in a previous case between the same parties. His Honor decided to dispense with the evidence of Mr Brown, accepting his own notes of the evidence by that witness on the previous occasion, but he was put into the box to give further evidence in matters of detail, and was subjected to a very searching cross-examination by Mr White as to what transpired at the meeting of the creditors of David Leach.
