Gallagher, an American, and one of the men recently arrested here on a charge of being in unlawful possession of dynamite, and remanded until Thursday, has appealed to the Hon Bussell Lowell, the American Minister, for protection by the United States Government. Mr Brogden on Native Affairs. In the House of Commons last night, Mr Alexander Brogden, M.P., gave notice of a resolution regarding the , native question in New Zealand, and especially the treatment of Te Whiti.
