The contractors lor the rudder of the Ugglan began work yesterday on a formidable beam of red-gum, near the shore end of the breakwater. When it is finished the ship will be taken out into deep water, and put " down by the head,” leaving the stern out of water so as to enable the new rudder to be shipped.
