Hon. W. Robinson’s Cassivelaunus— Envy filly (£200), 4yrs, 7st ; Mr Baton’ If So (200), 3yrs, 7st 41 b ; Mr Richards’ Supplejack (£SO), aged, 7st 211 s; Messrs Mason and Vallancc’s Jack (£SO), 3yrs, 6st 41b also ran.

Leos bolted round the course, so spoiling his chance. Gitana led from the start, winning easily. The three first were the only horses really in the race.

Time —Imin 12^sec. Flung Handicap, a sweepstakes of 3 sovs., with 60 sovs added, for three-year-olds and upwards; 6 furlongs. Mr Bates’ The Jilt, 3yrg, 6st 121 b ... 1 Mr Lunn’s Whitbach, aged, 65t81b... 2 Mr Lee’s Emir Bey, 4yrs, Bst 11b ... 3

Messrs Mason and Vallance’s Siesta, 3yra, Bst 101 b ; Mr Butler’s Luna, aged, Bst 81b ; Hon. W. Robinson’s Cassivelanus—Envy filly, 4yrs, 7st 121 b; and Mr Horsford’s Nonpariel, also ran. This race was won by a bare length.

The Consolation Handicap was won by Jack (Bst 31b), beating Comet, Whitbach and four others.
