Distance about 4 miles. 2 p.m.—Maiden Plate of 100 sovs, with a sweepstake of 5 sovs each for acceptors, to go to the second horse. Nominations of 2 sovs to go to the fund. Weight for age. Distance, about 2 miles. 3 p.m.—Hunt Club Cup of 100 sovs, with a sweepstake of 5 sovs each for acceptors to go to the second horse. Nominations of 2 sovs to go to the fund. Weight for age. No person allowed to enter a horse unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 Is to the B’und, which must bo enclosed with the entry. All Entries and Acceptances must be made under Sealed Cover, and contain Entrance Money, Sweepstakes, Name, Age, Description and Pedigree of Horses, and Colors of Riders. A penalty of Two Sovs,, will be enforced on any Jockey riding in wrong colors. This rule will be strictly enforced. /xT . Note—As some misconception appears to have arisen about the weights in the Grand National Handicaps, it may be as well to state that no weight will be under 10 stone, but that 12 stone Tibs isjnot necessarily the highest weight in any Handicap.
