MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
There was very little excitement in town yesterday at the first election since the division of the Borough into wards, aud but few votes were polled. The result of the election has been an: influx of new blood, without an entire exclusion of old stock. Councillors Jackson, Gibson, Sherratt, Gabitec, and Biirth are old Councillors, the remainder are untried men. The following are details of the polling at :the various wards:— noxh/bAst ward. Name.
