The wheat market maintains the firm tone reported last week, and a fair enquiry has arisen for choice milling sorts. Soft sprouted grain continues neglected, Oats have a declining tendency and buyers show no disposition to increase stocks. Fowl wheat and feed barley are in plentiful supply. To-day’s quotations are:— Milling wheat, 4s 4d to 4s 7d ; fowl wheat, 2s 6d io 3s oats, 2s 9d to 2slld ; feed, 2s 7d to 2s 9d ; malting barley, 4s to 4s 9d ; feed 3s to 3s 6d.
