Mails close at the Ohief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under:— Wednesday, A ug. 16. For United Kingdom, vifi. Melbourne and Australian Colonies, per Manapouri, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17. For Northern Porta of New Zealand, and New South Wales and Queensland, per BotomaliaDa, at 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18. For Northern Ports of New Zealand; and New Sooth Wales and Queensland, per Wakatipu, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2,50 p.m. (Signed) Ed.
