Mails close at the Chief • Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Thursday, June 15. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c., via Melbourne (specially addressed correspondence only), and Australian Colonies, per Eingarooma, at 4 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Albion, at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 17. For Northern-Ports of New Zealand,per -Hawea, at 2.50 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, the. Continent of Europe, ■ America, Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and Mediterranean Ports, as follows : Money orders,, registered letters and newspapers at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2 80 p.m. Late fee letters at the Chief Post-office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post-office Mail Van (Northern Express Train) till 3.20 p.m. (Signed) Ed.
