Mr W. Reid, formerly a solicitor in Scotland, was to-day admitted by His Honor Mr Justice Williams to be a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand. Mr Reid’s many friends here will be glad of his success. Dr Fisher’s run in the McKenzie country with 22,000 sheep, have been sold by Messrs R. Wilkin and Go., to Mr J. A, Sutton, of Dunedin. Attached to the run is 15000 acres of freehold. The whole has been disposed of at a satisfactory price to the vendor, but the price is not to be made public.
