The strong nor’-wester blowing to-day gave the masters of the vessels lying inside the Breakwater some trouble. Tbe ketch Fanny Thornton carried away her mooring lines and had to run out to the anchorage. The Annie Bow carried away her stern lines and swung round head to wind, when she lay quite easily. The owners of the little Lillie Denham had a very lively time of it in making her secur ■, and the lines they had st cured scarcely strong enough for the purpose. The Beautiful Star arrived jn the morning, but after the wind got up nothing could be done in the way of tendering her.
